Design Brief
The objective of this project was to rebrand San Diego State University's Environmental Health and Safety Department (EHS), SciShield. SciShield's current logo on the left has become outdated, and with a collaborative group of four students total, we managed to recreate a new logo as well as a badge to indicate that the user has unlocked an achievement after completing the lab safety requirement, etc. As a result, our team came up with our logo, "Aztech Labs" and our badge, "Acetech."

Sketching Process
Before coming up with a new company name that represents both science and safety, and another for "safety-champion," my teammates and I came up with some sketches that aligned best to the requirements.
We redesigned the original SciShield logo by using a turtle's shell as a shield, adding the SDSU's former logo, as well as icons that represent science overall. Before finalizing our designs, my teammates and I combined our sketch ideas.
