DESIGN BRIEF
This project was intended to explore the process of designing a logo. The process involved coming up with words that connected to our theme (in my case "security"), creating sketches, finding a color palette, applying our logo sketches to package bags, business cards, and much more. As a result, I came up with Trojan Security, which includes the trojan horse and a shield.
Sketches
The theme of this logo project is "Security or Protection." The word "Hero" inspired me to draw a sword, shield, a horse (knight), and a lion (lionheart). I included a small detail of wings on the sword and shield to give a representation of "guardian angel." Some synonyms for the word "Hero" are Warrior, Guardian, Champion, Knight, Lionheart, etc.
In the end, I selected the horse. The next step after selecting my icon was to make the horse more abstract. I wanted to reference the horse off of the trojan horse and knight piece in chess.

Logo Designs
I experimented and utilized colors that matched chess board pieces (typically brown tones), so for a secondary coloring, I ended up mainly using brownish-yellow, and black tones for the abstract horse. The final logos indicate that the company is about security/protection because of the elements presented. The horse could be a representation of either the knight piece from chess or the trojan horse.
