Design Brief
The objective of this project was to design a package for a cacao brand that is sustainable to the planet and affordable for low-income families. The process involved researching the country chosen to further analyze based on their status on cacao trade and production, sketching logotypes, and creating mood boards to connect certain elements that represent the country selected.

Lunalati is "love-themed" which encourages consumers to not only share love with friends, family, partners, etc., but also to give our planet love. Luna is "moon" in Spanish, and "-lati" derives from the word "chukulati" in Quechua, one of the main languages used by the Incas.
The moon was designed for this project because Ecuador is said to be the closest country to outer space. The color palette is based on Ecuador's flag (just slightly desaturated).
